The Huawei Mate X design is incredibly newer, but extremely heavier and way thicker than Google Pixel 2 XL. The Google Pixel 2 XL has a little more vivid display than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1440 x 2880px and a much smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels count in each inch of display.
The Huawei Mate X counts with a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate X counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate X also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate X features better battery duration than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has a 28% greater battery capacity. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Google Pixel 2 XL, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
