Comparison review
Huawei Mate X has a score of 89.4, which is a little bit better than Galaxy S6 Edge's 85.7 score. Even though the Huawei Mate X is notably newer than Galaxy S6 Edge, it's notably heavier and way thicker. Both of these devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate X has newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy S6 Edge has Android 5.0, so it provides some nice extra features and a performance increase.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Huawei Mate X, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an extra GPU and a 64-bit processing unit. The Galaxy S6 Edge features a brighter display than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a much smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen.
Huawei Mate X features a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 384 GB more internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate X has a much better battery performance than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh. Huawei Mate X captures just a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a back facing camera with way more megapixels, a way bigger back camera sensor and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light photos and videos.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S6 Edge, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S6 Edge. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Galaxy S6 Edge, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
