The Galaxy A42 has an overall score of 87, which is better than Huawei P Smart (2019)'s 74.4 general score. Galaxy A42 is a newer device than the Huawei P Smart (2019), but it's heavier and just a little bit thicker. Both phones in this review have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A42 has the previous 11 version and Huawei P Smart (2019) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Huawei P Smart (2019) features a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a much greater count of pixels per inch in the screen. The Galaxy A42 has a superior memory to store more apps and games than Huawei P Smart (2019), because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Huawei P Smart (2019) and the Galaxy A42 both feature really similar processors, and although the Galaxy A42 has a greater amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores.
