Motorola Edge (2024) is slightly better than the Huawei P20 Lite, getting a global score of 78.5 against 75.4. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but Motorola Edge (2024) has the older 14 version while Huawei P20 Lite has Android 8.0 Oreo version. The Motorola Edge (2024) design is incredibly newer than the Huawei P20 Lite's, but it's just a bit thicker and heavier.
Motorola Edge (2024) features a little more vivid display than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has a little worse pixel density, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2400px resolution and a little bit larger screen. The Huawei P20 Lite features a much faster CPU than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Motorola Edge (2024) captures much clearer videos and photos than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has a bigger aperture, a lot better (4K) video quality and a camera in the back with a way better 50 mega pixels resolution. Motorola Edge (2024) has a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P20 Lite, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The Motorola Edge (2024) counts with a much better battery lifetime than Huawei P20 Lite, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Motorola Edge (2024) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Huawei P20 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P20 Lite. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Motorola Edge (2024), otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei P20 Lite, resigning some features and specifications.
