Comparison review
Huawei Mate X has a general score of 89.4, which is a little bit better than Huawei P20 Pro's 81.4 global score. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate X has newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei P20 Pro has Android 10, so it provides you a couple additional features and performance tweaks. Huawei Mate X's construction is newer, but extremely thicker and notably heavier than the Huawei P20 Pro.
Huawei Mate X has a little bit better screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has a lot higher resolution of 2200 x 2480px, a just a little higher pixel amount per inch in the display and a much bigger screen. Huawei Mate X has a much better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has 512 GB internal memory.
Huawei Mate X features a bit better CPU than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei Mate X also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Huawei P20 Pro shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a smaller sensor offering a worse image quality, they both have a same size camera aperture and a 40 MP resolution back camera.
The Huawei Mate X has a bit longer battery life than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei P20 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei P20 Pro. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Huawei P20 Pro, letting go a couple features and specifications.
