The Huawei P20 Pro is just a bit better than LG G7 ThinQ, getting a score of 81.4 against 81. Both of these devices have Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei P20 Pro has an older 10 version while LG G7 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie. Huawei P20 Pro's construction has the same thickness than LG G7 ThinQ, but it's somewhat heavier.

The LG G7 ThinQ has just a little better hardware performance than Huawei P20 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The LG G7 ThinQ features a better screen than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have a same size display, the LG G7 ThinQ also has a higher pixels density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px.

The Huawei P20 Pro counts with a better camera than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has worse video frame rates and a tinier aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a way higher resolution back camera and a lot bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.

LG G7 ThinQ features much more memory to store more apps and games than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. Huawei P20 Pro features improved battery life than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has a 33% more battery capacity.

Although Huawei P20 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG G7 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G7 ThinQ. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Huawei P20 Pro, else you can save some money and buy the LG G7 ThinQ, resigning some specifications.
