Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium is slightly better than Huawei P20 Pro, getting a global score of 82.2 against 81.4. Although it's the best cellphone in this comparison review, it must be noted that it's also incredibly thicker and way heavier. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a lot better screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better 2160 x 3840 resolution and a lot greater display pixel density.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a bit better hardware performance than Huawei P20 Pro. Both of them have a 6 GB RAM memory and 8 cores. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a quite bigger memory to store more games and applications than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 400 GB.
The Huawei P20 Pro takes much better pictures and videos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same video frame rates, a same size diafragm aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a camera with way more mega pixels and a way bigger back camera sensor which offers a way better photo and video quality.
The Huawei P20 Pro has a little longer battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei P20 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P20 Pro. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Huawei P20 Pro, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
