The Huawei P20 Pro has a score of 81.4, which is a bit better than the Xperia Z5 Premium's 79.8 overall score. Both phones in this review use Android operating system, but the Huawei P20 Pro has a newer 10 version while Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1 version. Huawei P20 Pro's body has the same thickness and weight than Xperia Z5 Premium.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a processor that's very similar to the Huawei P20 Pro one, because although the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has 3 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a way better screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 3840 x 2160px and a way greater screen pixels density.
Huawei P20 Pro has a quite bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage capacity. Huawei P20 Pro counts with a bit longer battery life than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3430mAh.
The Huawei P20 Pro counts with a bit better camera than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the same (4K) video quality and a F1.8 aperture, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a lot bigger camera sensor capturing much higher quality pictures and videos and a lot better resolution camera.
The Huawei P20 Pro not only is the best devices of the ones we are comparing here, but it's also a lot cheaper, which makes this phone an obvious call.
