Comparison review
Huawei P20 has a general score of 78.1, which is a little bit better than the Asus ZenFone AR's 77.4 overall score. Even though the Huawei P20 and the Asus ZenFone AR were released only 9 months apart, the Huawei P20 is somewhat thinner and a little bit lighter. The Asus ZenFone AR features a little more vivid display than Huawei P20, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a quite greater pixel count per display inch and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560.
Huawei P20 features a little better processing power than Asus ZenFone AR, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and they are faster). Asus ZenFone AR has a much bigger storage to install applications and games than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Asus ZenFone AR also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB.
The Asus ZenFone AR shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei P20, because although it has lower 24 frames per second video frame rate, a tinier sensor which offers a lower photo and video quality and a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Asus ZenFone AR also counts with a much more megapixels back camera.
Huawei P20 has just a little bit longer battery life than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has a 3% greater battery size.
