Comparison review
The Motorola Moto Z4 has a global score of 79.8, which is slightly better than Huawei P20's score of 78.1. Both phones in our current comparison have Android operating system, but Motorola Moto Z4 has the previous 10 version while Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Motorola Moto Z4 body weights the same than the Huawei P20, but it's just a bit thinner.
Huawei P20 has a bit more vivid display than Moto Z4, because although it has a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2244 and a little smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher pixels quantity per display inch. Huawei P20 features a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto Z4. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
Motorola Moto Z4 features a better camera than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Moto Z4 also has a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a way more mega pixels back-facing camera and a bigger aperture to capture better low-light captures and videos.
The Moto Z4 has a superior storage for games and applications than Huawei P20, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Moto Z4 also has a SD memory slot that admits up to 512 GB. Motorola Moto Z4 counts with a bit longer battery duration than Huawei P20, because it has a 3600mAh battery capacity.
Although Moto Z4 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P20. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Huawei P20, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
