Comparison review

Galaxy Note Edge has a global score of 81.7, which is a little bit better than the Huawei P20's 78.1 overall score. Even though Galaxy Note Edge is a better phone than Huawei P20, we must note that it's also way older, just a little bit thicker and just a little bit heavier. Both devices in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note Edge has the previous 5.0 version while Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie.

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge counts with just a little better processing power than Huawei P20, because although it has 4 less cpu cores (but faster) and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge features a much better display than Huawei P20, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440px resolution and a bit higher quantity of pixels per inch of display.

Huawei P20 captures slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a back-facing camera with a much worse 12 MP resolution and a worse 3840x2160 video quality, it also counts with a bigger back camera sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality and a bigger camera aperture.

Huawei P20 counts with a much better memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory. The Huawei P20 has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 3400mAh battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P20. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Huawei P20, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
