Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 edge+ has a general score of 79.3, which is slightly better than Huawei P20's global score of 78.1. The Galaxy S6 edge+ body is a little lighter and a bit thinner than Huawei P20, although it was released 3 years before. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S6 edge+ has 5.1 version and Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a brighter display than Huawei P20, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a bit greater pixel density. The Huawei P20 counts with a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Huawei P20 also has a greater number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+'s camera is very similar to the Huawei P20 one, because although the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low light photography and video and a smaller back camera sensor, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rates, it also counts with a back camera with a way better resolution.
The Huawei P20 counts with a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Huawei P20 has just a little better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei P20. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei P20, resigning some features and specs.
