Comparison review
Xperia XZ1 has a score of 78.3, which is a bit better than the Huawei P20's score of 78.1. Even though Xperia XZ1 and Huawei P20 were only released 7 months apart, Xperia XZ1 is a bit lighter and a bit thinner. The Xperia XZ1 has just a little better hardware performance than Huawei P20. They have 4 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit.
Xperia XZ1 counts with a display that is just as good as the display in Huawei P20, although the Xperia XZ1 has a just a bit less pixels per inch of display, a little smaller display and a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px. The Xperia XZ1 counts with a bit better camera than Huawei P20, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low light captures, and they both have the same back-facing camera sensor size, the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same video definition, the Xperia XZ1 also counts with a much better 19 megapixels resolution camera.
Sony Xperia XZ1 has a way bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Huawei P20, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Huawei P20 features longer battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has a 3400mAh battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei P20. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Sony Xperia XZ1, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei P20, resigning some specifications.
