Comparison review
Google Pixel 4a 5G has an overall score of 87.5, which is better than Huawei P40 Lite's 79.5 score. Both phones in this comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Pixel 4a 5G has a newer 11 version while Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10 version, giving lots of additional features and a performance increase. Even though Google Pixel 4a 5G and the Huawei P40 Lite were released only 9 months apart, Google Pixel 4a 5G is just a little bit thinner and just a bit lighter.
Google Pixel 4a 5G counts with just a bit better display than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little better pixel number in each inch in the display and a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px. The Google Pixel 4a 5G and Huawei P40 Lite feature incredibly similar memory to install games and applications, they have the same internal memory.
The Google Pixel 4a 5G has a bit superior CPU than Huawei P40 Lite. They have the same RAM memory amount and 8 processing cores. Huawei P40 Lite has a bit better camera than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has slower video frame rate and a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light images and videos, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a much larger back-facing camera sensor which gives a way better image and video quality and a way more mega-pixels back facing camera.
The Huawei P40 Lite counts with just a little bit longer battery life than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because it has an 8% larger battery capacity.
Although Google Pixel 4a 5G is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei P40 Lite. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Google Pixel 4a 5G, else you can save some dollars and get the Huawei P40 Lite, resigning some specifications.
