The Huawei P40 Pro is much better than the Huawei nova 3, having an 88.2 score against 76.3. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS, but the Huawei P40 Pro has older 10 version and Huawei nova 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version. The Huawei P40 Pro is a newer phone than Huawei nova 3, but it is extremely heavier and somewhat thicker.
The Huawei P40 Pro has a bit superior processor than Huawei nova 3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Huawei P40 Pro has a little bit better display than Huawei nova 3, because it has a just a bit better pixel amount in each inch of screen, a little bit higher 1200 x 2640 resolution and a quite bigger display.
Huawei nova 3 features a much bigger storage for games and applications than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Huawei nova 3 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 256 GB. The Huawei P40 Pro shoots much better pictures and videos than Huawei nova 3, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting photographs in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with higher 60 fps video frame rates and a much better 50 MP resolution back-facing camera.
The Huawei P40 Pro has a little better battery life than Huawei nova 3, because it has a 12% bigger battery capacity.
