Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro is just a bit better than the LG G8X ThinQ, having a score of 88.2 against 82.7. These devices come with the same Android 10 operating system. Even though the Huawei P40 Pro is a better phone than LG G8X ThinQ, we must tell that it's also a just a bit thicker and just a bit heavier phone.
Huawei P40 Pro features a bit better display than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a little bit higher 1200 x 2640 resolution, a just a little higher quantity of pixels in each inch in the display and a quite bigger screen. The LG G8X ThinQ and Huawei P40 Pro count with really similar processing units, and although the LG G8X ThinQ has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores.
The LG G8X ThinQ features much more storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the LG G8X ThinQ also has an external SD slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The Huawei P40 Pro features just a bit longer battery lifetime than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a 4200mAh battery size.
Huawei P40 Pro captures way better photos and videos than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking pictures in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 60 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a camera with lot more mega pixels and a much bigger camera sensor providing a way higher image quality.
