Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro is much better than the Motorola Edge 40, getting a score of 88.2 against 77.2. The Huawei P40 Pro is better than the Motorola Edge 40, we must highlight that it's also a notably older, somewhat thicker and heavier cellphone. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P40 Pro has 10 version while Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version.
The Huawei P40 Pro counts with a very superior performance than Motorola Edge 40. They have 8 cores and a 8 GB RAM memory. Motorola Edge 40 counts with a little more vivid display than Huawei P40 Pro, although it has a quite lower 1080 x 2400 resolution, a bit less pixels per inch in the display and a quite smaller display.
The Huawei P40 Pro takes a little bit better videos and photos than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has a lot tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking photographs and/or video in low light environments, and they both have a back facing camera with a 50 megapixels and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with faster 60 frames per second video frame rate and a larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Motorola Edge 40 features as much storage to install applications and games as Huawei P40 Pro, both of them have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Motorola Edge 40 features just a little better battery life than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a 4400mAh battery size instead of 4200mAh.
