Huawei P40 Pro is a bit better than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, getting a global score of 88.2 against 82.2. Huawei P40 Pro is a newer device, and it's also somewhat lighter and incredibly thinner than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium. The Xperia XZ2 Premium's processor is very similar to Huawei P40 Pro's CPU, and although the Xperia XZ2 Premium has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a way better looking display than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better display pixel density and a much better resolution of 2160 x 3840.
