Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro has a general score of 88.2, which is much better than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's 79.8 overall score. Even though Huawei P40 Pro is notably newer than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, it is somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker. These phones come with Android OS, but the Huawei P40 Pro has newer 10 version while Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1, so it gives you some nice extra features and improved performance.
Xperia Z5 Premium features a much better display than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with way more pixels per inch of screen and a way higher resolution of 3840 x 2160. The Huawei P40 Pro counts with a greater storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Huawei P40 Pro features a little better performance than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have 8 cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with more RAM memory. The Huawei P40 Pro features superior battery performance than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 22% greater battery size.
The Huawei P40 Pro counts with a better camera than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light photos and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a much larger back-facing camera sensor which offers a much higher photo and video quality, a camera with lot more megapixels and better video frame rate.
