Comparison review
The iPhone 12 is slightly better than Huawei P40, having an 88.7 score against 86.4. The iPhone 12 comes with iOS 15.x OS, while Huawei P40 works with Android 10 OS. IPhone 12's body is thinner and just a little bit lighter than Huawei P40, even though both of them were released only a couple of months apart.
The iPhone 12 features a more powerful processor than Huawei P40, because although it has 2 GB less RAM memory and a lower number of cores , it also counts with a 64-bit processor. Apple iPhone 12 counts with a sharper screen than Huawei P40, and although they both have a same size display, the Apple iPhone 12 also has a slightly better resolution of 1170 x 2532 and a just a bit greater pixels density.
Huawei P40 counts with a much better memory for apps and games than Apple iPhone 12, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity. Huawei P40 shoots a lot better photographs and videos than iPhone 12, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for capturing pictures and videos in low light situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei P40 also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution.
The Huawei P40 features a superior battery life than iPhone 12, because it has a 3800mAh battery size against 2815mAh.
Although iPhone 12 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei P40. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the iPhone 12, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei P40, giving up some features and specifications.
