Comparison review
IPhone 12 Pro is slightly better than the Huawei P40, getting a score of 92.8 against 86.4. IPhone 12 Pro comes with iOS 15.x OS, while Huawei P40 counts with Android 10 OS. IPhone 12 Pro's construction is somewhat thinner but a little bit heavier than Huawei P40, and they were only released with a couple months difference.
Apple iPhone 12 Pro counts with a superior performance than Huawei P40, because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster), and they both have a 6 GB RAM, the Apple iPhone 12 Pro also counts with a 64-bit processing unit. Apple iPhone 12 Pro features a sharper display than Huawei P40, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Apple iPhone 12 Pro also has a little bit greater display density and a little higher 1170 x 2532 resolution.
The Huawei P40 and the iPhone 12 Pro both feature really similar storage capacity for applications and games, they have exactly the same internal storage. The Huawei P40 features a very superior battery lifetime than iPhone 12 Pro, because it has a 3800mAh battery size against 2815mAh. Huawei P40 captures much better pictures and videos than iPhone 12 Pro, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for capturing photos and videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei P40 also counts with a back camera with a much higher resolution.
Although Apple iPhone 12 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P40. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Apple iPhone 12 Pro, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Huawei P40, letting go some specs and features.
