Comparison review
The Huawei P40 is a little bit better than Asus ZenFone 7, getting a general score of 86.4 against 83.9. Although the Huawei P40 and the Asus ZenFone 7 were released with only 5 months difference, the Huawei P40 is way lighter and somewhat thinner. These phones work with Android OS, but Huawei P40 has the older 10 version while Asus ZenFone 7 has Android 11.
Huawei P40 and Asus ZenFone 7 both feature extremely similar processors, both of them have 6 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit. The Asus ZenFone 7 features a bit sharper display than Huawei P40, because although it has a quite lower display pixel density, it also counts with a little bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little bigger screen.
The Huawei P40 has a little bit better camera than Asus ZenFone 7, because although it has a way lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a lot worse 50 megapixels resolution back-facing camera and a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing photographs and videos in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a lot larger sensor providing a much higher image quality.
The Asus ZenFone 7 counts with a way bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei P40, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Asus ZenFone 7 also has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Asus ZenFone 7 has superior battery life than Huawei P40, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 3800mAh.
