Comparison review
The Huawei P40 is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 10, with an 86.4 score against 78.9. These devices work with the same Android 10 operating system, so both should count with identical OS features. The Huawei P40 construction is notably newer and just a bit lighter, but just a bit thicker than the Huawei Mate 10.
Huawei Mate 10 has a sharper screen than Huawei P40, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little greater pixels density and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution. The Huawei P40 counts with a bit better CPU than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 also has a greater amount of RAM.
Huawei Mate 10 has a bit bigger memory to install games and applications than Huawei P40, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB. Huawei P40 takes much better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for low-light images and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei P40 also counts with higher 60 frames per second video frame rate, a much larger back-facing camera sensor providing a much better image quality and a camera with a lot higher 50 mega-pixels resolution.
The Huawei Mate 10 features a bit better battery performance than Huawei P40, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3800mAh.
Huawei P40 costs a little more money than Huawei Mate 10, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
