The Huawei P40 has a global score of 86.4, which is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 10 Pro's 79.2 global score. Huawei P40's construction is way newer and a bit lighter than the Huawei Mate 10 Pro's, but it's just a little thicker. Huawei P40 features just a bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 10 Pro. Both of them have a 6 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor.
Huawei P40 features a bit more vivid screen than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, because it has a quite bigger screen, a slightly better 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a just a bit more pixels per inch of display. The Huawei P40 features a much better camera than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei P40 also counts with a lot bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, better 60 fps video frame rates and a lot higher resolution camera in the back.
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro's memory for apps and games is just as good as Huawei P40's one, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Huawei Mate 10 Pro counts with just a little better battery life than Huawei P40, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
