Comparison review
The Huawei P40 is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, having a general score of 86.4 against 82.9. The Huawei P40 is a newer cellphone, and it is also a little bit thinner and a little lighter than the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a bit more vivid display than Huawei P40, because it has more pixels per inch in the display, a higher 1440 x 3120 resolution and a little larger display.
Huawei P40 features a bit superior CPU than Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Both of them have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core processor. The Huawei P40 takes slightly better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for capturing images or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei P40 also counts with higher video frame rates, a way bigger sensor taking much better quality pictures and videos and a more MP camera in the back.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro features as much storage capacity to install games and applications as Huawei P40, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a bit longer battery duration than Huawei P40, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity.
