Comparison review
Huawei P40 is better than Huawei nova 3, having a global score of 86.4 against 76.3. Huawei P40 is a newer phone than the Huawei nova 3, but it is thicker and just a little heavier. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei P40 has an older 10 version while Huawei nova 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
The Huawei P40 has just a bit better display than Huawei nova 3, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the Huawei P40 also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display. Huawei nova 3 features a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Huawei P40, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the Huawei nova 3 also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
Huawei P40 features a little bit better performance than Huawei nova 3. Both of them have 8 cores and a 6 GB RAM. The Huawei P40 shoots way better photos and videos than Huawei nova 3, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low light images and video, and they both have the same video quality, the Huawei P40 also counts with faster video frame rate and a back camera with way more megapixels.
Huawei P40 has a bit better battery performance than Huawei nova 3, because it has a 3800mAh battery capacity against 3750mAh.
