The Huawei P40 has a global score of 86.4, which is a little bit better than the Huawei P10 Plus's 79.8 score. Even though Huawei P40 is noticeably newer than the Huawei P10 Plus, it is a bit heavier and somewhat thicker. Huawei P40 features a bit better hardware performance than Huawei P10 Plus. Both have 8 processing cores and the same RAM memory amount.
The Huawei P10 Plus features a little bit better display than Huawei P40, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a greater display pixel density. The Huawei P40 shoots way better videos and photos than Huawei P10 Plus, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low light images and video, and they both have the same video definition, the Huawei P40 also counts with better video frame rate and a back camera with way more mega pixels.
