Comparison review
The Huawei P40 has a general score of 86.4, which is much better than the Huawei P20 Lite (2019)'s overall score of 76.5. Both phones we are comparing here work with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P40 has an older 10 version and Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has Android 9.0 Pie. The Huawei P40 body has the same thickness than the Huawei P20 Lite (2019), but it's just a bit lighter.
The Huawei P40 has a little more vivid display than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite better screen density and a slightly higher 1080 x 2340px resolution. Huawei P20 Lite (2019) counts with a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei P40, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 256 GB.
Huawei P40 has a bit better CPU than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei P40 also has a greater amount of RAM. The Huawei P40 takes much better pictures and videos than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for low light photography, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a way better resolution camera in the back.
Huawei P20 Lite (2019) features just a bit better battery duration than Huawei P40, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
