Comparison review
The Huawei P40 has a general score of 86.4, which is slightly better than Huawei P30's 81.7 score. Huawei P40's body is newer, but just a bit heavier and just a little bit thicker than the Huawei P30. Both of these phones use the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so both of them should provide very similar operating system features.
The Huawei P40 features just a little better hardware performance than Huawei P30. They have 6 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores. The Huawei P40 counts with a slightly better looking display than Huawei P30. Both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2340px, a screen of the same size and the same count of pixels per inch of screen.
Huawei P30 features as much memory capacity to store more apps and games as Huawei P40, both have exactly the same internal memory. The Huawei P40 has a slightly better camera than Huawei P30, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for shooting photos and videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Huawei P40 also counts with a lot bigger sensor capturing way higher quality videos and photos, a more megapixels camera in the back and faster 60 fps video frame rates.
Huawei P40 has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei P30, because it has a 3800mAh battery capacity instead of 3650mAh.
In addition to being the best phone in this comparison, Huawei P40 is also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes it an easy decision.
