The Huawei P40 has a score of 86.4, which is a little bit better than the Huawei P30 Pro's 82.1 score. The Huawei P40 is a a little lighter phone than the Huawei P30 Pro, but both are equally thin. Huawei P40 has a bit superior processor than Huawei P30 Pro. Both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and the same RAM amount.
Huawei P40 features just a bit better looking display than Huawei P30 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the Huawei P40 also counts with a just a little greater screen density. The Huawei P40 shoots a bit better videos and photos than Huawei P30 Pro, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for shooting images or videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei P40 also counts with a better resolution camera, a way larger camera sensor shooting lot better quality videos and photographs and faster video frame rates.
Huawei P30 Pro's memory to install applications and games is just as good as the Huawei P40 one, both have the same internal storage. The Huawei P30 Pro counts with a little better battery duration than Huawei P40, because it has an 11 percent more battery size.
