Comparison review
Huawei P40 is a bit better than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, with an 86.4 score against 86.3. Even though the Huawei P40 is extremely older and just a little thicker than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, it's construction is still just a little bit lighter. Both devices we compare here use Android OS, but the Huawei P40 has the previous 10 version and Motorola Edge 50 Pro has Android 14.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a sharper screen than Huawei P40, because although it has a little bit worse pixels density, it also counts with a bit larger screen and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Motorola Edge 50 Pro has much more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P40, because it has more internal memory.
Huawei P40 features a very superior processing power than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro counts with a bit better battery life than Huawei P40, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 3800mAh. The Huawei P40 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, because although it has a lot smaller aperture which is worse for capturing images and/or video in low-light environments, and they both have a back camera with a 50 mega-pixels resolution and the same (4K) video quality, the Huawei P40 also counts with a bigger sensor shooting higher quality photographs and higher video frame rates.
