Huawei P40 is much better than the Moto G Power, having a overall score of 86.4 against 76.1. Both devices in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei P40 has an older 10 version while Moto G Power has Android 11 version. The Huawei P40 design is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than Moto G Power, even though both were released with only 0 months difference.

The Huawei P40 features a bit better CPU than Motorola Moto G Power, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei P40 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Huawei P40 has a bit more vivid screen than Motorola Moto G Power, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a just a little greater display density.

Huawei P40 features a way better camera than Motorola Moto G Power, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for taking pictures or videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei P40 also counts with a back-facing camera with a way better resolution, a way bigger camera sensor taking much better quality photos and videos and better 60 frames per second video frame rates.

Motorola Moto G Power has more memory to install applications and games than Huawei P40, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Moto G Power counts with superior battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has a 32% bigger battery size.

Huawei P40 costs a lot more money than Moto G Power, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
