Comparison review
Huawei P40 is much better than Motorola Moto G9 Play, getting a overall score of 86.4 against 76.7. The Huawei P40 design is a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter than the Motorola Moto G9 Play, even though both of them were released only a couple of months apart. These devices use the same Android 10 operating system.
Huawei P40 has just a bit better processing power than Moto G9 Play, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P40 also has a higher amount of RAM. The Huawei P40 counts with a more vivid display than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a much higher quantity of pixels per screen inch.
The Motorola Moto G9 Play features a greater storage to install applications and games than Huawei P40, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Huawei P40 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting images or videos in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a way bigger camera sensor providing a lot better image quality, a way higher 3840x2160 video quality and a camera in the back with a higher 50 MP resolution.
Moto G9 Play features greater battery performance than Huawei P40, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity against 3800mAh.
