The Motorola razr (2020) is a bit better than Huawei P40, having an 87 score against 86.4. These phones work with Android operating system, but Motorola razr (2020) has the newer 11 version and Huawei P40 has Android 10 version, so it gives you lots of additional features and performance enhancements. Although the Motorola razr (2020) and Huawei P40 were only released 6 months apart, Motorola razr (2020)'s design is a little bit heavier but just a little thinner than Huawei P40.
Huawei P40 features a little faster processing unit than Motorola razr (2020), although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Huawei P40 counts with a bit sharper screen than Motorola razr (2020), because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little greater screen density and a little higher 1080 x 2340 resolution.
The Huawei P40 features just a bit better camera than Motorola razr (2020), because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light photos and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei P40 also counts with faster video frame rates, a more megapixels camera and a lot bigger camera sensor shooting way better quality photographs and videos.
Motorola razr (2020) has a lot bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P40, because it has 128 GB more internal storage. The Huawei P40 features a very superior battery performance than Motorola razr (2020), because it has a 3800mAh battery capacity against 2800mAh.
Although Motorola razr (2020) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P40. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Huawei P40, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
