Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A51 5G has a global score of 90.8, which is a bit better than the Huawei P40's 86.4 overall score. Both phones we are comparing have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G has the newer 11 version while Huawei P40 has Android 10 version, so it provides some additional features. Although it's the best we compare here, the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G design is a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier than the Huawei P40.
The Huawei P40 has a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy A51 5G. Both of them have the same RAM amount and 8 cpu cores. Huawei P40 counts with just a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A51 5G, because although it has a bit worse 1080 x 2340 resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher display pixels density.
The Huawei P40 has a slightly better camera than Galaxy A51 5G, and although they both have the same video definition, the Huawei P40 also has a higher 50 MP resolution camera, a way bigger back camera sensor providing a much better image quality, better video frame rate and a larger aperture for better low-light photos and video.
The Galaxy A51 5G has much more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P40, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A51 5G also has an external SD slot that admits up to 1000 GB. The Galaxy A51 5G counts with a bit superior battery performance than Huawei P40, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy A51 5G is a better device, it costs more than Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P40. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Huawei P40, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your savings.
