Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A71 5G UW has a global score of 92.9, which is just a bit better than Huawei P40's global score of 86.4. Both phones in this review work with the same Android 10 operating system, so you shouldn't perceive any difference in that aspect. The Samsung Galaxy A71 5G UW construction has the same thickness than Huawei P40, but it is a bit heavier.
The Huawei P40 features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy A71 5G UW, although it has less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Huawei P40 features a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy A71 5G UW, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2340 resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better pixel density.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 5G UW counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Huawei P40, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G UW also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. Galaxy A71 5G UW features a bit better battery performance than Huawei P40, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3800mAh.
Huawei P40 and Galaxy A71 5G UW have incredibly similar cameras, because although the Galaxy A71 5G UW has lower video frame rate and a way smaller back-facing camera sensor taking much lower quality photographs, and they both have the same video definition, it also counts with a larger aperture to capture better images in low-light environments and a lot higher resolution back-facing camera.
Although Samsung Galaxy A71 5G UW is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P40.
