Comparison review
The Galaxy Fold has an overall score of 97.6, which is much better than Huawei P40's score of 86.4. Both phones we compare here come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Fold has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei P40 has Android 10 version, so it counts with a couple additional features. Galaxy Fold's design is thinner but a lot heavier than Huawei P40, and they were released with only 6 months difference.
The Huawei P40 counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little worse 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a little higher pixels count per inch of display. The Samsung Galaxy Fold features a bit better processing unit than Huawei P40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has 6 GB more RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a much better storage to install games and applications than Huawei P40, because it has 384 GB more internal storage capacity. The Huawei P40 takes better videos and photos than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a lot smaller aperture, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P40 also counts with a lot larger sensor providing a way higher image quality and a back facing camera with a much better 50 MP resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold features a bit better battery life than Huawei P40, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity instead of 3800mAh.
Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P40. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Huawei P40, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
