Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S22 is just a bit better than the Huawei P40, with a general score of 93.4 against 86.4. The Samsung Galaxy S22 body is newer, just a little lighter and just a bit thinner than Huawei P40. These phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy S22 has a more recent 13 version while Huawei P40 has Android 10, so it gives you lots of additional features.
Samsung Galaxy S22 features a sharper display than Huawei P40. Both have exactly the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, the same display density and a screen with the same size. Huawei P40 has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy S22, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
Galaxy S22 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Huawei P40, because although it has a tinier camera sensor shooting lower quality pictures, and they both have the same resolution back-facing camera, the Galaxy S22 also counts with a lot higher 7680x4320 video definition and a larger aperture to capture better low-light photos and videos.
Samsung Galaxy S22 counts with as much storage capacity for games and applications as Huawei P40, both have equal 128 GB internal memory. The Huawei P40 features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S22, because it has a 3800mAh battery capacity against 3700mAh.
Although Galaxy S22 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei P40. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Huawei P40, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
