Comparison review
The Huawei P40 is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S7, having an 86.4 score against 79.5. The Huawei P40 design is noticeably newer, but a little thicker and heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S7. Huawei P40 features a little better processing power than Galaxy S7, because it has 4 more cores and a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Galaxy S7 features a better looking display than Huawei P40, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the display and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution. The Huawei P40 counts with a bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S7, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
The Huawei P40 captures a lot better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking photos and videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video quality, the Huawei P40 also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor which provides a much better photo and video quality, a camera in the back with a much better resolution and higher 60 fps video frame rate.
Huawei P40 has longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has 3800mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Although Huawei P40 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S7. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy S7, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
