Comparison review
Galaxy Z Flip has a score of 88.5, which is just a bit better than Huawei P40's general score of 86.4. Both phones we compare here include Android OS, but Galaxy Z Flip has a more recent 12 version and Huawei P40 has Android 10 version, so it provides you some extra features and increased performance. Although the Galaxy Z Flip and the Huawei P40 were released only a few months apart, the Galaxy Z Flip construction is somewhat thinner but a bit heavier.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip counts with a screen that's just as good as Huawei P40's display, although the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip also has a quite better 1080 x 2636 resolution, a quite greater screen pixel density and a quite larger display. Galaxy Z Flip features just a bit better processing power than Huawei P40, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Z Flip also has more RAM.
The Huawei P40 counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for capturing photographs and videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Huawei P40 also counts with a way higher resolution camera in the back and a way bigger back camera sensor.
Galaxy Z Flip has a superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P40, because it has more internal storage. Huawei P40 has a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy Z Flip, because it has a 15% more battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P40. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Huawei P40, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
