Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is slightly better than the Huawei P40, getting a general score of 94.6 against 86.4. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a newer 11 version while Huawei P40 has Android 10. Although the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the Huawei P40 were released with only 5 months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 design is thinner but notably heavier.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a bit faster CPU than Huawei P40, and although they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Huawei P40 features a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a lot worse 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit greater count of pixels in each display inch.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a much bigger storage for games and applications than Huawei P40, because it has 256 GB internal memory. Galaxy Z Fold 2 has just a little better battery life than Huawei P40, because it has an 18 percent more battery capacity. Huawei P40 counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for low light captures and videos, and they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei P40 also counts with a way more MP back camera and a much larger back-facing camera sensor which gives a much better photo and video quality.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei P40. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Huawei P40, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your money.
