Comparison review
Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has an overall score of 91.1, which is slightly better than Huawei P40's general score of 86.4. These phones use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has the newer 14 version while Huawei P40 has Android 10, providing some additional features and some performance improvements. Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a much thinner but noticeably heavier cellphone than Huawei P40.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a much better looking screen than Huawei P40, because although it has a little worse quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a better 1968 x 2184 resolution and a really larger display. Huawei P40 counts with a much faster processor than Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
Huawei P40 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for capturing photographs and video in low light situations and a much less MP back-facing camera. Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition counts with a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P40, because it has more internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition features just a little bit longer battery duration than Huawei P40, because it has a 16 percent larger battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei P40. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Huawei P40, giving up a couple specifications.
