Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 II is just a bit better than Huawei P40, with a 91 score against 86.4. The Sony Xperia 1 II design is just a bit thinner but just a little bit heavier than the Huawei P40, and they were released only 2 months apart. Both phones in this comparison use Android OS, but the Sony Xperia 1 II has the newer 11 version and Huawei P40 has Android 10, counting with some nice extra features.
The Xperia 1 II counts with a better looking screen than Huawei P40, because it has a lot higher 1644 x 3840 resolution, a way better pixel amount per inch in the display and a little larger screen. Sony Xperia 1 II has a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P40, because it has more internal memory and an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.
Xperia 1 II and Huawei P40 count with really similar processors, and although the Xperia 1 II has a higher amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Huawei P40 takes much better photos and videos than Xperia 1 II, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P40 also counts with a way bigger sensor shooting way better quality videos and pictures and a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
The Xperia 1 II counts with a little better battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
