Comparison review
Huawei P40 has a general score of 86.4, which is just a bit better than the Xperia 10 III's general score of 83.7. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei P40 has the older 10 version and Xperia 10 III has Android 11 version. The Huawei P40 design has the same thickness than the Xperia 10 III, but it's a bit heavier.
The Huawei P40 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Xperia 10 III. Both of them have 8 processing cores and a 6 GB RAM. Xperia 10 III has a display that's just as good as the Huawei P40 one, because although the Xperia 10 III has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2520 pixels resolution and a just a bit higher quantity of pixels in each inch in the screen.
Huawei P40 has a much better camera than Xperia 10 III, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for shooting photos in low-light situations, and they both have the same video resolution, the Huawei P40 also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot higher 50 mega-pixels resolution, a way larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and higher 60 frames per second video frame rate.
The Xperia 10 III counts with a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P40, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Xperia 10 III also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB. Sony Xperia 10 III has a little better battery performance than Huawei P40, because it has an 18 percent larger battery size.
