Huawei P40 has an overall score of 86.4, which is a bit better than Sony Xperia XZ Premium's overall score of 79.8. Even though Huawei P40 is just a little thicker than the Sony Xperia XZ Premium, it's a bit lighter and also notably newer. The Xperia XZ Premium has an incredibly better display than Huawei P40, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 2160 x 3840 and a way better pixels count per screen inch.
Huawei P40 features a bit faster processor than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei P40 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Huawei P40 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei P40 also has a way larger sensor providing a lot higher image quality, better video frame rate, a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light photos and a much better 50 MP resolution back-facing camera.
