Huawei P40 is a bit better than the Xperia XZ2 Compact, getting an 86.4 score against 79. Although the Huawei P40 is just a little bit heavier than Xperia XZ2 Compact, it's notably thinner and also noticeably newer. These phones include Android operating system, but Huawei P40 has 10 version while Xperia XZ2 Compact has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The Huawei P40 has a little bit better hardware performance than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei P40 also has 2 GB more RAM.
