The Huawei P40 is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ2 Premium, getting an 86.4 score against 82.2. The Huawei P40 construction is newer, way lighter and thinner than Xperia XZ2 Premium. The Huawei P40 and the Xperia XZ2 Premium feature very similar processing units, both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and 6 GB of RAM memory.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a lot better looking display than Huawei P40, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and a lot greater quantity of pixels per inch in the screen. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a better storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei P40, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 400 GB.
