Huawei P40 has a general score of 86.4, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro's 82.9 global score. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but Huawei P40 has 10 version while Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro has Android 9.0 Pie version. Even though the Huawei P40 and Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro were only released 6 months apart, the Huawei P40 is lighter and a bit thinner.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro features a bit sharper screen than Huawei P40, because although it has a little worse display pixel density, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro also counts with a bit larger screen. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro has a bit better processing power than Huawei P40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM.
Huawei P40 counts with a bit better camera than Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for shooting images and video in low-light environments, and they both have the same 60 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Huawei P40 also counts with a much larger sensor providing a way better image quality and a back facing camera with a better 50 mega pixels resolution.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro's memory capacity for games and applications is just as good as Huawei P40's one, both of them have equal 128 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro features a little longer battery performance than Huawei P40, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
