Comparison review
The Huawei P40 is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi 9, with a global score of 86.4 against 83.2. Even though Huawei P40 is newer than the Xiaomi Mi 9, it is just a bit thicker and just a little heavier. The Xiaomi Mi 9's processor is very similar to Huawei P40's processor, they have a Octa-Core processor and 6 GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 features a bit more vivid display than Huawei P40, because although it has a just a little lower screen pixels density, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also counts with a little bigger display. The Huawei P40 counts with a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low light captures, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei P40 also counts with a back facing camera with a better 50 MP resolution and a much bigger sensor.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 features as much memory capacity to install games and applications as Huawei P40, both have the same internal memory. Huawei P40 has just a bit better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has 3800mAh of battery capacity.
