Comparison review
Huawei P40 is much better than the Xiaomi Mi Max, getting an 86.4 score against 77.5. The Huawei P40 body is extremely newer and lighter, but a bit thicker than Xiaomi Mi Max. Huawei P40 has a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit better screen pixel density and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px.
Huawei P40 has just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei P40 also has a greater amount of RAM. Huawei P40 captures greater photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P40 also has higher video frame rates, a bigger aperture and a way better 50 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera.
The Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a much bigger memory for apps and games than Huawei P40, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 256 GB. Xiaomi Mi Max features improved battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has 4850mAh of battery capacity.
